*my family and I were invited out to experience the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort and Spa to help facilitate this review. All opinions are honest and my own
I’ve been in desperate need of a vacation. As a homeschooling work from home mom of 4 who’s husband is out of town for work half of evey month, my stress levels pile up! While an all out tropical destination or European getaway just wasn’t in the cards, a weekend staycation at the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort and Spa was a lovely alternative.
We ducked out of the house Friday afternoon and drove away from dishes, laundry, cooking and cleaning towards heated pools, gorgeous views and from-scratch Texas dining.
The minis and I adored all the family friendly and kid centered activities they offered such as animal encounters (which included a 2 toed sloth & baby kangaroo, amongst many reptiles) story times, an arcade, arts and crafts, nature walks + all of their current JW Hill Country Christmas fun. It was was so much more than we were able to take in!
The minis asked if we could live there.
If you’re a local, you have to visit, even if it’s just for the day. And don’t miss the breakfast buffet at Cibolo Moon. I’d make a special trip out that way just for that.
